So I have felt ok and then really bad, then ok again, it comes and goes. I have different physical symptoms to anxiety, I think we have all felt them at some point... pins and needles, headaches, chest pains etc. What I didn’t realise is the importance of how we breathe! Or that I was even doing it wrong.
So I was reading that people with anxiety have a real habit of “Shallow breathing”, not necessarily hyperventilating but just breathing in the top part of your diaphragm and not into your tummy. In turn this can cause guess what!? Headaches, chest pains, etc etc
So i have downloaded a app that reminds me at 8am every day and takes me through a 5 minute cycle of deep or proper breathing. I am not saying this is a game changer but it has helped with my chest pains.
So remember to breathe properly lovely people. It’s as important as breathing 😘

Good morning Matt, who would have thought you could breathe the wrong way, right? 😄 So true though and I good reminder. I'm glad it's helping you with your chest pains. The deep breathing help to slow my anxiety down which helps a lot.
I hope you have an anxiety free day! Love and light to you.
Hi Matt, keep practicing your deep breathing. It is the "key" to ridding yourself of anxiety and all the symptoms it brings along for the ride. From the moment I wake up, throughout the day and before closing my eyes at night, deep breathing is with me. Many good videos on YouTube that I listen to when stress gets too high. It has an instant calming effect. Who knew??
