Anxiety or virus?

This is the part I can’t stand is not being able to differentiate. I’ve had stomach cramping and a headache. I have had some minor congestion. Could be anxiety, could be a mild stomach bug. If it’s a stomach bug great, I’ll let it pass. But if it’s anxiety I’m wondering why it’s elevated and how to get past it. This is the time of the year last year when my anxiety had an all-time high and I’m trying to go with the flow this year. How do you all tell the difference? I’m on a very low-dose Lexapro and I’m starting to wonder if my body has adjusted and needs to increase.I have found myself being a little more tense for the last week or so, regardless of how much I try to talk myself into being calm.

I hope it’s a stomach bug and I say that in a good way. You know it won’t last long but anxiety seems to be a constant companion. I tried lexapro and didn’t tolerate it well. Over the years I have tried several meds but they all made me ill. So I decided to learn as much as I could about depression and anxiety. Knowledge is power. Claire weeks books are very helpful. Some one said she has a video on YouTube. I hope you have a great day and feel better soon.
