Hi Harley101, I don't know if you are being treated while at home but there is hope. I was Agoraphobic for 5 years. Never left my house during that time. Everyone came to me including the doctor ev. 6 months and his nurses for well checks every week. My therapist came to my home for weekly therapy until we switched to phone therapy. Lab work, ultra sounds, EKGs were all done at home. I was on medication which working out my issues in therapy.

During that 5 years time I had CBT, did Meditation and learned Deep Breathing as well as did a lot of reading and research on the Mind/Body experience. I read and re-read Dr. Claire Weekes book on Acceptance of anxiety. The last year of staying in, I worked on getting myself to go outside step by step, a little further each day.

With the proper treatment you will be able to get yourself to go forward once more. Staying stuck in the house is non productive and gets you no where. Use the forum for support anytime you want, there is always some one here who understands and cares. xx
