Zoloft Misfortune

Back in September I was put on Zoloft for my Anxiety. My body totally rejected the drug and I had a terrible reaction to it it made me feel absolutely insane and at a loss of control. I couldn’t walk around properly I could barely see where I was going and I was in constant panic and my anxiety was heightened so much I felt like a drug addict or something. Awful. Within 4 days my dr took me off the devil of a drug! I thought this would make my problems go away, however, it has now been 2 months since being off the pills and I have been struggling everyday just to get back to normal. I’ve been in bed all day everyday except maybe a few hours time at night. I can’t function like I used to and get terrible physical symptoms and Derealization/Muscle aches and pains feel like I’m losing my mind and it feels like I have to reteach myself how to live....2 of my good friends were also on Zoloft and had to be taken off and they also said even much past 3 months they still don’t feel like “themselves” and have terrible cognitive issues from it as well. I regret ever taking this stupid medication to begin with it ruined my life.

Has anyone else ever had a reaction similar on Zoloft?? I hear nothing but horrible things about this drug...Let me know guys. Thanks so much

I have been on Zoloft 50mg was feeling the same way so I lowered my dose myself and notified my doctor since they was so slow getting back to me. The doctor then said it was fine. I have felt a lot better down at 25mg. My pulse is normal through the night now. Haven’t had any big panic attack’s yet to see how my body reacts. Thankful something is working for me finally.

Oh that’s good it’s worked for you! You’re one of the only people I’ve heard say that it’s worked for. I was on the 50mg and tried 25 after that both were no good for me. But everyone’s body is different I’m so glad it’s working out for you :) I wish you all the best with your recovery journey
