TMJ causing eye problems?

Hey guys. So a few months ago my pediatrician diagnosed me with TMJ/TMD (I am 18 I was diagnosed when I was 17) because of some ear clicking I was having, my mother also has this issue and she deals with it all the time. But my question is, can TMJ cause eye problems? When my anxiety gets bad I grind my teeth and it causes my TMJ to flare up and I get a lot of eye floaters when it happens. It get headaches behind my eyes and around my jaws. I went to the eye doctor and she said my eyes are perfectly healthy and everything looked great. I just want to know if these spots in my vision that I am seeing (They are colored sorta) are because of it? It usually shows up when my TMJ acts up. Anyone have any ideas?
