Hello, I'm new here, my name is Loraine, I e suffered with what Dr's tell me is anxiety since I was a little girl, I think it's something to do with sleep, I used to get these attacks 4 or 5 times a year but as I've got older they've got worse, it usually starts when I'm really tired, when I try to sleep I get a tingling/buzzing sensation in my bottom and the most awful feeling I'm my stomach, can only describe it as fear as I don't know how else to explain it, it lasts usually about a week, I can't eat as I feel so sick, I would just like to know if anybody else has anything similar, would be so comforting to know im not alone, thanks for listening x

Hey Loran You're not alone! And we are gonna overcome our anxiety! I got the same thing I got an attack 3-4 times a year when I was still young, well that time, we got less stress so I guess it was easy for us to overcome the attack; now I'm 28, and I just got my peak last April and got diagnosed with GAD + Depression; can't sleep, can't eat, hot flashes, shaking, high blood pressure. I'm a neophyte in the world of GAD; but before the diagnosis, every 2 weeks before my period, I can't sleep well. Hope you're okay Loran
Hello Loraine, welcome. Anxiety and worry can manifest their ugly heads in a wide variety of time and ways. And I really believe stress, worry, lack of sleep, etc. can be natural responses to life concerns in all of us.
So what have you done in the past to work through these "episode"? Where they helpful? Have you talked wth your doctor about them in recent years? maybe someone else in your family also has the symptoms from time to time.....so have you ever asked your Mom? (I say that quietly as I am aware some people won't dare mention something like this to their Moms.)
Please just relax a little and check out the most obvious causes and remedies to your situation first, ok?
