So I don't not need to worry?
Hi, i think it is extrasystoles .. i have it sometime too.. it is scary feeling.. but is harmless.. everybody has .. can be few times per day.. but not everybody feels it. People who are more sensitive, with anxiety, or for sample thyroid problems unfortunatelly can feel it. When it happened to me for first time i was shaking from the fear and of course called ambulance.. now i can deal with it when it comes, but still is always very scary.. sometime i have a few of extrasystoles in row.. is like bum..nothing.. bum bum bum .. nothing.. and still it feels like the heart would a move a bit.. what helps me is to hold a breath.. it usually calms down... and of course my repeat to myself.. is harmless, is harmless, is harmless..
Try a big cough to get your heart rhythm back to normal. Also women the menstrual cycle can cause this to happen more often at certain times of the months typically in the week before your period. Especially if you're aged between 35 and 55.
