Did you tell your doctor? I was on Zoloft for 6 weeks and had to come off it. It was giving me more anxiety and worse symptoms. I'm thinking if it doesn't get any better for you in a couple off weeks maybe you can have it switched.

Im on zoloft and have been for years. When i started taking it i did feel more anxious, shaky, and would get extremely dizzy. It lasted for about 6 weeks. By the fourth week the side affects were going away and at about 6 weeks they were all gone. I can say zoloft really helped me with my anxiety, but sometimes you do have to try different meds to see what works for you. Your dose is also higher then mine. I take 50mg every nite. Also when i startes taking zoloft after a couple weeks i started taking it at night so i would sleep through a lot of the side affects

I would say 4 weeks is not long enough to feel the full effects. I've been on Zoloft 50mg for 3 months now and am happy to report I feel like my old self again! If you're really feeling awful then talk to your doc but from personal experience it takes time to feel better. Your anxiety is not going to magically go away overnight.

My husband had just recently tried Zoloft and he felt worse. I thought is would pass but after 6 weeks I called his doctor and told him it just was not working and asked his psychiatrist to please try him on something else as he has to get up to go to work and finds it very difficult and does not want to continue on a medication that is making him feel worse, So he tried him on Pristiq and now he is feeling much better. So I would speak to your doctor and have him try you on another antidepressant. Why suffer longer if you don't have too.

Best of luck to you.
