Lexapro side effects??

Just want to know of side effects others have or had with lexapro. Working on week 6 here. Been feeling dizzy lately. Weight is going down. HAD insomnia-getting better. Feeling like I'm disconnected sometimes.

Anyone who can let me know that these are normal and will go away would be GREAT!

Hi Justbreath123, I've been on Lexapro for 5 years, it's the only thing I am on for anxiety. For me, it's been the best drug in that I have no side effects from it. I might have had some lightheadedness at the beginning but it's been so long, I don't remember. But then again, anxiety itself caused me to feel dizzyheaded and disconnected at times. I would think at 6 weeks you are just about at the right efficacy dose so it might be a good idea to run it by your doctor and see what he says. Don't forget we are all different and react differently to our meds. Finding the right med as well as the right dose is trial and error but when you do you will know. Wishing you my best. x
