Escitalopram

Hi today is Day 3 being on Escitalopram. I have never been on any full time meds before for my anxiety but had no choice . Just wondering if anyone else on this ? And how are they travelling ? Feedback would be great Thankyou

Hi Jodz,   I am on Escitalopram (Lexapro).  It is one of the few medications my doctor tried me on that didn't give me unwanted symptoms.  No drowsiness, only thing I notice is dry mouth.  I take my after lunch and do not have a problem.  I started on 10mg and went up to 15mg.    I wish you well with this drug,  it is one that is used both for depression as well as GAD.   Take care   x

Thankyou for your reply . I have a bit of a dry mouth but yesterday all I did was yawn . I'm on 10 mg as I can be sensitive to any meds . Hoping this works

I wish you luck with it too.   Don't be concerned about yawning, since

you are early in taking the drug.  It's doing it's job in calming you down some.  After it reaches it's efficacy level you will adjust to it.   .
