Last nigjt I started taking albuterol and z pack. I have been dealing with shortness of breath and now when I woke up it feels like half my throat isn't there. I don't have the deep cough this morning as usual. Is thst normal? Also I've been having shaking chills all night and I slept maybe a couple hours.

Hello

I am not sure if this is normal or not , if you really think these meds are causing these side effects you need to contact a Doctor as they would be the only one's that could advise safely on this even though after one med it would be usual for it to have an effect on you but not impossible x

Also, if you are on zpack you are sick? sounds like maybe the albuterol and zpack are working to make you not have the deep cough and that's a good thing. albuterol is a stimulant which would explain the anxiety and sleeplessness. sounds like you had a respiratory problem? Albuterol can make you feel shaky and weird but if they were prescribed for a respiratory problem they are doing what they are supposed to do and the side effects are normal. These drugs will help you breathe better, if that's the issue.
