Have any of u thought u have a brain aneurysm? I have anxiety and I been thinking I have one since end of May. How do u cope with it

Hi megs 90.How do you know you have a brain aneurysm?

It can only be detected by a CT angiogram and usually is done by injecting dye in brain cells and vessels.Do you have very strong headache?Dizziness , vomit and loss of balance?Have you been unconscious?Have you got blurred vision and unable to speak properly?It`s similar to stroke,but only a neurosurgeon can establish if you need of further investigation.It seems to me that is something related to anxiety and hypochondria(the fear of having an illness).Have you asked your GP about your thought?CBT therapy could be appropriated for you,but has to be valued with your GP.

Daisymay70 I'm 23 I only Started thinking I had one cause my Great Aunt just died in May with her 2nd brain aneurysm. I have horrible headaches all the time but been tild it's anxiety. I had a ct scan but with no dye injected in me. Doctor said it looked perfect. Idk thou I keeo thinking I have one.

Having had an unruptured aneurysm I can assure you that a ct scan without dye can detect one. Generally unruptured aneurysms don't have any symptoms and if you had a ruptured anueysm you would know all about it as when they rupture they generally present with a pain in your head that you have never felt before and its nothing like a headache and a million times words than a migraine.

Got bad anxiety do any one suffer dizziness .. feel head going bust .. shakes all time .. feel going lose your mind xxx how cope this x

Iv`e heard all about brain anyerysms, & they don`t have any symptoms until too late. that scares me because I do wonder if I`ve got one of those time bombs in my head without realising it. If only we knew what causes them.
