You can't make any decisions with any SSRI until you have taken daily doses for 3+ months.

They take time to level out your neuro transmitter Seratonin,

I read a recent New Scientist article earlier this year, where they scanned the brains of subjects taking SSRI's over 6 months. Increased activity in areas affecting mood, especially associated with stress were seen in initial weeks, which ties in with the claims that SSRI's can make people feel suicidal in the early stages... but after 3-6 months the subjects brains were showing really positive activity in terms of Seratonin , reduced Cortisol etc etc.

GL!

Most anti depressants take a while to take effect. I should give it a bit longer. Sertraline is a good one and prescribed a lot. Don't rush into anything. Most ssri's basically do the same job but you are supposed to get less side effects with this one. Take care

Hope you get some effect from the meds shortly
