For the past 2 days, I've had this fluttering in my stomach. Lasts for a few seconds, and happens many times a day. I also feel bloated this morning, on the way to the gym. I've also had a stomach pain the past 2 days, it was wind build up and (sorry for how this sounds) once I released the wind, the stomach pain went. I've also been feeling sick in the mornings.. I sometimes feel sick in the morning near to my period but I've been off my period for about 5 days. Also, again without trying to sound graphic, going to the toilet doesn't seem right.. kind of loose, and not smelling so good. This, of course, has made my anxiety worse wondering what it could be. I'm scared of going to the doctors, partly to do with my agoraphobia of going out of my comfort zone and also my social anxiety. But also my health anxiety too, I'm always thinking the worst of things. My anxiety has made me feel sick at times too, and has given me diarrhea at times.
Has anyone else had this before? My partner thinks it *could* be IBS and I know I should see the doctor, I just need to buck up the courage to.

My anxiety definitely manifests itself in stomach issues! As soon as i'm having even a slight flare up i go to the toilet a lot more often and its lose stools. I also feel nauseous a lot of the time. If i'm having a very strong anxiety time then i will also vomit.
Lots of lovely things to keep us occupied during our anxiety :-((
yes it certainly does cause all the symptoms you are worried about. I have IBS an its much worse when the anxiety is at a high point. Going to the loo and bowel movements many times, but only for such a little result and wind too. Its not pleasant when going out in case there are little leaks. I cut out some foods like carrots and onions and some other vegs and stick to porridge for breakfast.its a good food to eat and quite slimming too. Best of luck, Try not to worry it will vary from day to day but sometimes goes altogether. See the Doc if you can, I find it hard to make the effort and as you say 'go out of the comfort zone', but you are lucky to have someone to go with Take care hugs cotonroad. . . . .
