New job

I've gotten my second job this year, I've been contracted as an optic scientist for full time. I feel anxious about finding a new job, my last experience destroyed my confidence completely. I'm almost always fatigued from studying, and work at a slower pace, and being at a fast enviroment burns out my health completely. If there's someone with experience around handling a college and work life I'd be open to hear some advice.

Work on 1 task at a time...prioritize...on both sides

What are the both sides you are referring to?

I assumed, and it couldbe wrong...that you are both working and in school....prioritize what needs to be done in both aspects.....

No problem, I'm currently in my last few semesters so you'd be right then. I just have trouble juggling both one after the other.

It’s been a long, long time since I was in college, but I did both also…school and work. It can be difficult. It requires planning and scheduling, but especially making sure you allow yourself at least a little downtime to recharge and otherwise enjoy other things in life. And staying connected with others (which I’ve generally had the most trouble with). Best of luck with the new job!

Thank you, I'll try to keep in touch then. The hardest most demanding part is trying to catch up with conversations with how time consuming it all is at the same time. It's almost like I've burned out the energy to use the time I have outside of work.

totally understand that too.....just make sure that you incorporate some "you" time in there....that's the hard part in all of this....finding the work/schoo/life balance...

Totally understand that. I had the same struggles when I was in college...trying to keep grades up and working full time....I applaud you for the fact that you are able to do both....I'm actually getting ready to tackle this monster again at age 53. I am getting ready to attend emergency medical technician classes and work 52-60 hours a week....very demanding.....
