Panic attacks/anxiety

I lost my mom six years ago. It has given me anxiety but just for the last 3 months I haven't wanted to leave my house and panic everyday to the point it makes me sick. I don't know what else I can do. I can't drive because I panic thinking about driving or leaving my house. I take medicine but it doesn't help that much.

Hello and Welcome. I am sorry for the loss of your Mom. I have depression, anxiety, and have trouble leaving the house, but I am making progress. I have been here since July and I have found it so helpful connecting with people who are struggling with the same things. You definitely are not alone. Thank u. U give me such hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am struggling but I know with the will power and meeting new people that are struggling as I am. Thank u for replying back to me.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. It is not quick or easy, but it is possible. There are people here who have recovered from anxiety and share their stories with us. It is very inspiring. If you are open for a book recommendation, one that is recommended here is Hope and Help for Your Nerves End Anxiety Now by Dr Claire Weekes. Some people here have recovered using her method.

Thank u. I will have to look into that book. I love reading. It is something to definitely look into to. I am so over feeling this way 24/7. I am going to see about ordering that book and giving it a try.
