I have been dealing with anxiety for a month now. I am happy to find this group to share my experience. How are you dealing with your anxiety?

hi welcome. Some people journal some meditation. I make miniatures. It’s not relaxing sometimes but I don’t think about the things that are bothering me. This group has helped me tremendously!! There will always be someone to talk to.

When my anxiety hits, I close my eyes and take a big deep breath through my nose, hold it in for about 4 seconds, then slowly release through my mouth. And I repeat that q few times til I can feel my pulse calm down. Or I color on my phone to distract myself when I'm out in public. I have a coloring app

oh interesting. Taking a deep breath does work! I hope to find a few people here I can chat with. It is hard to deal with anxiety alone.

Distraction helps me a lot, hobbies and entertainment. But I'm fortunate in that I'm further along in the healing journey.
