Hey I was wondering if anyone else felt robotic on lithium. Was anyone else feeling lazy.

i had it for sometimes it was not effective on me it produces lot of discomfort and anger to me. i felt i was benefitted with psychotherapy

Hi. I'm long retired now but when in practice as a mental health social worker based in a psychiatric hospital this particular comment about Lithium was commonplace.

Hi, I've been on lithium for a couple of years now and for me it's probably been the best medication I've been on. In terms of enabling me to have a foundation of healthy regular sleep. And feeling more emotionally balanced so again it gives me a starting point to then go on and achieve on a more regular basis.It's difficult to remember back to when I first started on it but I do remember feeling emotionally charged and hyper for the first time in a long time.

It's so strange how medication affects everyone differently but I'm so glad I stuck with it as I'm doing better now with the lithium along side antidepressants.
