I took Zoloft many years ago and it did cause nausea. They started me on a baby dose which helped, and then I began taking higher doses as time went by. I have heard lots of good things about Zoloft, but I cannot take it anymore because of my diagnosis. Anyway, your nausea should diminish but if it doesn't, you should ask your doctor. Best luck to you.
Hi, I have been on Zoloft at one point. What I did have was anxiety about taking it, and so I reacted similarly. I know it's difficult and scary taking new medication, but as Stippler said, it might help to know that these symptoms tend to diminish. Especially as you become less anxious of the new medication you are taking. If the side-effects outweigh the benefits with time, talk to your doctor as honestly as you can about what you are feeling, so you get the right help.
