Love « the weather » at the end of the list! But debatedly we can control it with less fossil fuel burning, fewer cars, more forestation etc - we can’t completely control it completely obviously but we sure can make a difference…

I was talking to my TMS technician today, she is quite a bit younger than I am. I described to her what Boston was like back in the 1970s. There was always a layer of air almost touching the ground. A brown-orange smog that made it hard to breathe, in the summertime people would just pass out. The closer you got to Logan Airport the worse it would get. Down in the subway, it was like swimming. The Clean Air Act of 1970 required all cars after the year 1975 to be equipped with a catalytic converter. This act required all vehicles to cut their emissions by 90% in only five years. And just like that. the orange smog was gone. The air is dirty but nothing like it was. People can change the world for the better sometimes

They have the resources and means to create clean energy but they put money first, we are controlled by a small number of billionaires who are running the world for greed.

I share in your sentiments of a conspiracy to maintain the fossil fuel economy. More than a decade ago, back when I thought my words meant something. I started a one-man campaign to replace fossil fuel with hydrogen. Basic summary: Build automated geothermal generators along the undersea mid-Atlantic ridge and other underwater volcanic hotspots. Use that geothermal energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Liquify and ship the hydrogen using the same liquid natural gas technology that has been around since the 1960s. Retrofit all the coal-burning power plants to burn hydrogen. With the recent auto industry move to electric cars and trucks, world consumption of natural petroleum would be cut by 95%. Once the oil runs out, not only does the transit system of the world stop but we stop making plastics and other petroleum base products

PS: I just jumped in a puddle and it did in fact not work to cure my anxiety 🤣

There is a source plentiful in the ground forget the name of it, its clean they used it in the manhaten project. 2 power stations were running of it, But the oil and controllers need to make money and money and money. Check out Greg Braden he talks about it. There is also work on free energy and thats ready to go but they are not funding it.
