• Fell Asleep: 2:30 am, 9th Nov. 2022
• Woke up: 6:48am, 9th Nov. 2022
• Sleeping duration: 4 hrs 28 min
• How did I feel sleep:
-> I ate a whole small watermelon, and some curry rice I didn’t finish today.
-> I couldn’t sleep and tried to call my mum but she ignored my phone call
-> I tried to call a guy I met from online and he declined me saying he was busy
-> I got restless and I tried to watch some short videos, listening to some rain sounds, and tired hard to sleep, that was around 0:30 to 1:00 am
-> I gave up eventually and I started to read a book using my phone, and I was making notes while I read.
-> The book was Poor Charlie’s Almanack, I read about one chapter before I got sleepy 😴😴😴💤💤💤
-> I set the alarm o’clock at 5 am first then changed it to 5:30 am. I made it at 6:48 am eventually even though I was woken up by it at 5:30 am
• How did I wake up:I remember
-> I was in dreams, and there are a few characters are giving their opinions on if they should wake up.
-> There’s is a rich powerful man who despised my getting up, and he said the strong will of getting up early is a waste of his energy, and it goes against all the money and time he paid for education (not very logical, I don’t know how to explain his words).
-> But there’s also another woman who talked back, saying this strong will to wake up is a choice, and it’s exactly the proof of good education and strong mind. Thinking about this, I woke up, even when I was still very sleepy.
-> I know it’s not good to sleep little. But I also know that if I keep getting up late, I can never do what I want to do. I haven’t finished my application for PhD, I will have no time cooking, I couldn’t go to the morning lessons in gym, and I feel bad about myself just because I don’t have a strong mind.
• Lesson learned today:
-> Don’t eat or drink things after 7 pm
-> Don’t watch short videos on phone in the evening. Try to read a book and make notes.
-> Put the phone away or even lock it or turn it off.
-> Trying to concentrate, on your breathing in and out or just a book.
-> Have a strong will ok your mind and persuade yourself that you can make it
-> Set an early gym reminder, I will go to group cycling later at 8:15 am, and now I’m cooking some eggs. I will bring my backpack and lunch with me so later I can go to work directly. And I can also study in the library above the gym.
