changing from mertazapine to Sertraline

Just changed from mirtazapine 30 mg to Sertraline 25 mg 15 days! Dreadful side effects mainly insomnia and nausea. Now been given cyclizine to help with nausea but feeling quite despondent. Need support from others

Switching meds is always hard. I’ve been on so many I lost count. I was on Sertraline before I got diagnosed bi-polar. I found the higher my dose got (up to 150mg) the more I got used to it. think I’m finally getting there but every single day feels like a month! Now doctor has to decide whether to up my dose from 25mg to 50mg. I’m dreading the thought of going through more side effects again!

yesterday woke up feeling fine with no side effects, today nausea back. Day 17 on 25mg

have had a couple of really bad days with nausea throughout followed by insomnia - not a good combination! Seriously thinking of stopping. My doctor said she wouldn’t up my dose from 25 mg whilst so bad side effects but waiting for her further suggestions
