Has anyone had luck losing weight while on antidepressants? Im needing to lose 15 lbs or so in my belly area. I work out 5 days per week at least 30 min often 45 min combination cardio and weights and i ear very healthy, low carb, high vegetable etc. Been doing this routine for a couple years bit still look and feel several months pregnant. Any tips or suggestions? Ive tried other antidepressants before with poor tolerance for switching, side effects, etc.

Losing Weight
Sounds weird but add a 10-20 min daily walk. It doesn't seem like much but it works. The thing that sticks out is "routine". Maybe you are bored? Could be reading into it too much but I won't do a routine. I do do exercise though.
not many negative effects while walking for sure .. it may be slower than what you expect but it it highly proven if you make a daily commitment
I was trying to lose weight and I was in a plateau. I added walks and lost 10 pounds in ummm 🤔 6 weeks I think? It was like a booster shot.

I’m trying to lose weight and I take Seroquel, which I know can cause you to slowly gain weight. I don’t know what to do, I’m not losing much. I might talk to my doctor about it.
I take mirtazapine which is also one that can slowly pack on the pounds. I had the same thought to talk to my doc as well to either switch to something else or taper off....
