Venlafaxine withdrawal

hi Everyone,

i have come down 1 bead out of a 150mg Venlafaxine capsule. It has been 6 weeks & i am still having withdrawal effects. Anger,sensitivity to noise and a feeling of a band around my head.i had a pig of a time going on them but my Dr insisted although i am very sensitive. I want off them because they have done little for my depression and going higher only made me more depressed. i have added others to it with no luck. I cant take 2 different types together seemingly either.

My sweet mum died so i am very depressed.

q1. How long for side effects to go.

q2. Anyone got any ideas to get me through this, I am frightened of coming off completely because i will be very depressed and i have tried others meds in past with no luck. I will see my Dr in a week but i think she will say stick.

Any advice welcome.
