Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew of like support group meetings you can go to for depression/anxiety. I like how the AA meetings are run but I don’t feel like I’m allowed to be there because I am not trying to actively be sober and therefore may be taking away from their own goals. Let me know if any of you have ideas, thank u so much!

NAMI has online support groups

If you don't have an available support group in your area, and you like how AA meetings are run, then you may want to check out Emotions Anonymous, and see if they have a group in your area.
EA, (from what I've heard from a friend) is basically AA for anxiety and depression, but they do accept a broad range of mental condition members that go beyond anxiety and depression as well like biploar, multiple personality disorder, ETC.
Which is fine, and I think that it's great that people needing help are getting help, but it's just more of a heads up that they do accept members of pretty much every mental illness/disorder condition. (more than just anxiety and depression, that's all)
I am in the states but Mood Disorders of Ontario Canada has a great online group(you don't have to be from Canada). I used to get on weekly and it was a great group run by great moderators. It was initially recommended to me by the tech who did my last round of TMS.
If you live in the US, you might check with your County's mental health department for resources in your area.
