I got back to my accomodation after Easter and I slept all day today. These days i have been really burnt out and today i woke up at like 7pm and some minutes. Someone told me i'm shutting down but actually i'm just tired. Too much stress, not enough rest. And i see a lot of people are experiencing lack of energy, apathy and depression lately - you're not alone, it will pass.

My anxiety, depression, and PTSD play into my sleep schedule. Sometimes I cannot go to sleep, sometimes I sleep too much. Even if I am not "tired", I am exhausted. My theory for many examples of sleep disturbances is that we have too much on our minds, and that our bodies need rest. I sometimes dream of a day where I can stay in bed and sleep and have NO responsibilities all day. I have had the opportunity, and do not take it out of fear of disappointing people or wasting a day, but it is important to take time out for ourselves and to help our bodies and minds rest
