I had an ankle operation March this year a few days later I started feeling nauseous and burping also diarrhoea, I’ve been for the cameras all came back fine still nausea and burping. I have been given 3 different anti sick drugs the last one made me so agitated the doctor gave me a drug to calm it down also the nausea subsided the drugs used for anxiety, could it be possible I’m suffering from anxiety or depression I am going through the menopause, be great to hear anyone’s thoughts.

It does not sound to me that it would be related to the ankle surgery. Have you seen a gastroenterologist? I think that might be the next step if you haven't. Are you eating differently? Try to cut out alcohol, coffee, spicy food and junk food and eat a bland diet for a while and see if that helps. Otherwise, it could be anxiety as the GI tract is very sensitive to psychological concerns.

Yes I have seen gastroenterologist had cameras and CT scan all came back normal.I’ve not had any alcohol since before surgery, don’t drink coffee and have stayed away from spicy and junk food. I’ve tried everything x

He put me on antibiotics they were no good he said that there was nothing showing and it will get better, he also gave me anti sick medication waste of time x

Might well be the start of menopause, your doc should be able to do blood tests to ascertain it.

Could you have IBS? I get diarrhea and. nausea with it. Also abd cramps. It does not show up on camera. I can’t do milk products or too much salad for sure. Stress can aggrevate it. Good luck my friend.

My dr doesn’t think that it’s ibs, I have spoken to another Dr since posting this and anxiety/ depression was mentioned keep clenching my teeth a lot x

My daughter clenches her teeth and has diarrhea and has anxiety.

My diarrhoea is on and off my main symptom is no appetite and nausea however noticed I’m clenching my teeth a lot 🤦‍♀️ x

Hi. I often feel incredibly sick when given antibiotics, so maybe it's that??

I felt sick before taking the antibiotics still feel sick finished them a while back thanks for your message.
