intolerance to any heat -results of venlafaxine

I am suffering severe intolerance to heat after taking venlafaxine for one month. Excessive sweating and heat exhaustion as well . How long will this go on ?

I was on venlafexine a while back. I didnt respond to it well and my doctor at the time increased my dosage above recommended dosing in an effort to improve my depression symptoms. This ended up with me having some very bad side effects which required hosptilization. Thankfully Im no longer on this med. Be careful!

I didn't know which meds were responsible for excessive sweating I suffer too. Ask your primary dr.what you can do.

I have been on and off this med for 17 years. I totally remember the first 6-8 weeks of excess sweating, some finger twitching- then it stopped. It helped me tremendously with my panic attacks. BUT…. It is evil to wean off of thou- just an FYI

I am suffering terribly on Duloxetine. I am weaning off gradually. When I was on Venlafaxine I suffered if I took a dose higher than the minimum. I'm so fed up of it. I feel like my life's on hold and unbearable. If I wean off these what the hell is left as my GP said it would be unwise to try another SSRI or SNRI. Bloody side effects. It's not fair is it?

Im have the same thing at the moment. Excessive sweating is driving me insane. Even when I'm out in the cold I'm wiping sweat off my face 🤦‍♀️

Venlaxafine, my face sweats, my hair soaked and this happens at cooler temps. I get so embarrassed. I tried a cream that says it prevents the sweat, but doesn't work for me.
