Hi everyone, this is a message to everyone on this app. If you need someone to talk to, ask advice from, rant to or even just to say hi please feel free to message me. I’m currently isolating due to a COVID-19 infection so I wanted to take this opportunity to improve my social skills and hopefully make some new friends.

Dog picture is lovely, it does brighten my day. While collecting my daughter from where she works today l was very hurt by remarks being made about me by an elderly lady I used to live near, I overheard her as I was sitting in the car waiting. She would only have had surface knowledge about me even then. Yet she slated me in every way she could to two young women I didn't know at all.

I know some people can be casually cruel without knowing the damage they are doing. This month is the one year anniversary of my trauma of being bullied and mocked at work, l left that job. I was just beginning to regain a little confidence until this today.

I am determined to rebuild myself again, but it is so disheartening.

Hi there, firstly please don’t apologise I’m glad my post help you vent! I am really sorry she would do that just on surface knowledge of you, that’s incredibly unfair must be extremely disheartening. I hope you can continue to build up your confidence despite this setback.

I’m also so sorry to hear you suffered bullying at work so much you had to leave, I can agree with you it’s incredibly demoralising to have your colleagues treat you like that. You should be proud of how far you’ve come since then, no one will ever take that away. I actually suffered workplace bullying too, and it’s been a few years now and I still can’t return to normal work.

You will always have someone to talk to here, someone to help celebrate your achievements and help pick you up on your setbacks. No one should ever stop you for feeling proud of any confidence you build back up. My PM’s are always open if you need someone to talk to! 😁
