I’ve been on sertraline for about 9 weeks now, first couple weeks anxiety was through the roof then it slowly levelled out, only side effects I’ve had is waking up every night around two hours after I went asleep then only way I can go back asleep is if I go down on the sofa.. but anyway I’ve felt like 80-90 percent back to myself until yesterday felt as thought I was over thinking a lot, has anyone else had this after having so many good days for a while does this mean I need to up the dosage to 75 mg maybe?

Ask your Doctor, but 50MG is a low dosage. You may just be an overthinker and always will be. Some of us are wired that way, but we can still live very happy and fulfilling lives - we just overthink. Getting the anxiety leveled is everything.

Yes I think your right I have always been a over thinker but up into the point where I needed medication it’s never been somethings that’s bothered me until I broke down have a appointment with doctor next week so will see what she suggests
I can't say if the overthinking means you need a higher dose. That would be something to ask your doctor about, but I can say that I relate to the insomnia. I find that hydroxyzine helps me with the insomniac effects of sertraline, and I also take it when I'm on the verge of a panic attack to stop it in its tracks.
Have you been taking sertraline for long? I read the side effects wear off after a while but I been on them for 9 weeks now surely the tablets would be in my system by now and the time insomnia should be wearing off
