sorry to read of your suffering diagnosed the same years ago.don`t leave any stone un turned in your quest to live a more manageable stable life identifying what has been the main cause of your suffering is best steps you can take in moving forward.having support and being able to open up really will help.
You recognize that you have something going on and that you need help. That is a huge step. I don't know what your situation is but try finding some help, a therapist, psychiatrist or even talking to your primary care. Good luck. This is a great place for you to be. Lots of good people!
Hi. Depression and anxiety are harsh! I am sorry that you are dealing with them.💚 A year can feel like it will never end when you have depression.
The good news is is that depression and anxiety are treatable. It might seem like it's impossible but you can find help! I know this to be true. It will take some work on your part. You can do it even if you don't believe that right now.
For immediate help, call the suicide hotline. Look up the number of a local nental health center and contact them. Ask about psychotherapy and an appointment to see a psychiatrist if you don't already have that in place.
There is a part of you (the part who reached out here) that knows how to get help. Rely on that part and don't stop until you get what you need!
Hi Akanksha! The things that help me most:
Therapist
Medication
Exercise
Alone time/ meditation / writing/reflecting/art
Tea
Do you notice anything that helps you or can you think of anything you could try to see if it may help you?
❤️
Thank you so much for your concern.
Hey it's great you're looking for support. Taking any action towards getting help is a huge step. I know you'll find the kinds of supports you need, whether it be in the form of medication, therapy, social connections, or taking care of your physical and mental health day to day
