This is my roommate's tv show of choice, he says it's his happy place. :) That, & Star Trek TNG.

I'm thinking my friend :) I'm hooked on Lifetime movies that are intense so cross that one

of your list. There are so many reality shows lately that I find going back to reruns of

"King of Queens" and "Two and a half Men" is a little lighter fare.

I'm sure others will come up with some of their favorites. Meanwhile, there is always

YouTube. Some of their videos are crack ups.

First thing we should do is laugh at ourselves each day. Life doesn't have to be that

serious. :) xx

Giant Gorg is a good kids Anime from the 80s about a boy who goes on globe trotting adventure, befriends a giant robot to save his family and fights the evil megacorperation known as "Fraud" lol. It sounds cheesy (and it is) but its full on fun and and is very heartwarming.

A Love Song For Bobby Long with John travolta is one of my favorite uplifting movies. Another is An Officer And A Gentleman with Richard Gere. For a series, I like to watch Bill Maher every Friday night on HBO cause I laugh so much. ❤️🏄‍♀️

A great number of things though I've always loved cartoons and anime. I really loved Adventure Time, it was able to be meaningful and cheerful without being overly complex or serious.

Painting with John! John lurie paints and talks about stuff and walks around like an elephant. So cute and I really like his music and painting. I want to move to wherever the heck he lives.

Oh I need to check that out. I loved his Fishing with John series, esp with Willem Dafoe!

Well , I have lots of go to shows & it varies as certain episodes I will find more relaxing than others. The only shows I can't bare are news shows as they always putting out negativity into the world. I mean yes there are bad things happing everyday but we all know there are loads of great things that we never hear about that have happened too. Maybe we need good news shows & I bet they will be most watched in the day.

Wonder Woman 1984!!!!! I guess her and Steve travel through time. Gal Gadot is beautiful but very intuitive and smart as well. Shows how girls turn on each other. You think someone is your friend and noooooo...,.......

I've been enjoying X-Files, esp seasons 3 & 4. It's not always light-hearted but it's fun (at times) & nostalgic.

Spirited Away is such a beautiful movie that I recommend to everyone. It never fails to make me tear up at the end; no other movie affects me quite like it.

& my all-time favorite, the Lord of the Rings trilogy. However, the appendices that come with the extended DVDs have hours upon hours of excellent behind the scenes documentary footage; it's made me appreciate the films so much more. It's funny, fascinating, & I could keep going, but I'll spare you my ramblings.

I came across this wonderful Korean reality show called Hyori's Bed and Breakfast. It's not all Hollywoodized and sexualized like a lot of American reality shows are. It became my calm and safe place and when I had a migraine, I turned it on so I could hear their voices in the background. It's a bit frustrating now because they removed Season 1. I don't know why. But Season 2 is just fine on its own.

My therapist recommended Inside Out. I don't usually watch animation but it really is uplifting. It also touches on our emotions and how they work. Most importantly it just made me feel like a kid again watching cartoons! So much fun!
