Dosing up on my Gaba.

Feel like 1 pill is not enough.

I know a person left a review on the gaba product that she used 2 pills at first then tapered to 1 after her anxiety went down.

A whole cocktail of things.

Gaba

Ashwagandha

Magnesium

Genius Joy(mainly just vitamins)

St. John’s wort (only when I remember to take them)

And bunch of other multi-vitamins since me and my wife are trying to conceive :)

If you are trying to treat depression and anxiety with natural or herbal products they work very little if at all. Ive tried and read a lot about them. They work marginally. You should talk to your doctor about options including medication.

Hello sadman99

I agree with you they only work to a certain level. I know medication works and I have nothing against it. I just never been a fan of taking medication for anything. I’ve always preferred natural remedies for everything, headaches, blood pressure, stress, etc.

I did tell my doctor about what I’m taking she is keeping me on them. I guess eventually I will have to take them.

Hey AlfredyI didnt and dont mean to tell you what to do with your life. I wish the herbs worked with me. I tried St Johns for a year or two and no success. Even my therapist who is also into natural cures said the effects are minimal with someone like me. So I am on meds now. Wish I wasn’t and wish I could also go the herbal route. I really do hope it works for you though. My wife who is rock solid with no mental issues (uch! Must be nice!) is all organic and natural cures so I get it. I really hope it works for you man but if you start to freak there are other options. Believe me I wish I didn’t have to take meds! But such is my life.

I know. I understand no hurt feelings or anything. I guess it’s just a personal choice. I means like my doctor said “you’re still taking pills”Weather it’s medication or natural herbs. And that is a good point. But also one of my other reasons is because I suffer from ulcerative colitis and migraines. So my dr. Does not wanna put me in to many medications which is a win-win for me.

If the day ever comes where I have no choice I will take them and hope I get better. After all time does heal all.

It’s funny you say that my wife is the same. She is probably the healthiest human being I know. Must be nice lol
