Gaba/PharmaGaba: Has anyone tried Gaba... - Anxiety and Depre...
Gaba/PharmaGaba
Nice, thanks for you response. I’ll definitely try it and see how it works
I have recommended this supplement a few times. It has a difficult time passing your blood brain barrier. So, about 60% of the time it doesn't work. If you add L-theanine & B-6 it helps your body utilize it better. If you need supplement info I have more than 20 years experience researching, taking and using all types of supplements. Always glad to help....
Thank you very much. I take Anxiety-Free supplements by Ridgecrest Herbals. Two tables when I wake up. It has L-Theanine and B-Complex vitamins, along with Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Ashwagandha, and Passion Flower. I also take a Probiotic at night as well. The Anxiety-Free last a bit, but not as much as I want. I was trying to see if I could take that, and then the PahrmaGaba at night. they are chewable tablets, 200mg.
Yeah, you can take 1 tablet at night pretty much worry free, You'll have to see if it actually helps. If sleep is a problem you might want to consider melatonin. 3mgs 1 hour before bed is quite helpful. 125 mgs of magesium citrate in gelcap form is helpful for calming you down too. The 3 should put you into a calm, restful sleep on any night.
Okay. I’ve taken Magnesium Citrate in the powder (Natural Vitality Calm), but it really doesn’t help.
That's a good brand and several of my friends have had excellent success with it. You might want to consider L-tryptophan caps 1-3 times daily. They naturally improve mood, relieve depression and anxiety + help you sleep. Recently several of my friends reported success with this rarely used amino acid.
okay i will look it up. Thank you very much!
Since you're following me, feel free to pm me anytime you need info on supplements. I had experience with quite a few of them in my 22 years of relying on supplements. By the way, do not substitute 5-htp for trytophan. While 5 htp works, it is well known to cause upset stomach/stomach problems in a significantly high percentage of people.
Traditional medicines has stress relieving tea, L-theanine helped me, breath work, exercise, getting enough good sleep, essential oils like lavender, good people who care.
Hi. I take 600mg 3x day for my fibromyalgia and it really helps me. It helps with my nerve pain. I tried it at first for my anxiety as well but it didn't really help that much but we are all different.
