I've been feeling very lonely and depressed for about a year, feeling like I've become nothing. I have felt hopeless about my future and my relationships have faltered since covid and other major changes in life. I don't know what to do anymore.

You’re welcome 😄

Hi Logan777, I’m sorry you’ve been through hard time during this pandemic. Life constantly changes whether we realize it or not. Through acceptance and be in the Now can be painful but it releases us from suffering. Let go of controlling and be gentle on yourself. Best wishes 🌈🙏

I definitely feel lonely too. I don’t have any family around, and I’ve realized I don’t have many real friends. Still, I try to cherish the positive interactions I do have, whether it’s with a coworker or a store clerk.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. What happened last year that caused you to feel this way? Was it a specific incidence that can be corrected?

Covid has of course caused problems and devastation for so many of us. But with the vaccinations on things should be back to normal in a few months.

I've been dealing with loneliness, anxiety and depression for a long time now so I can relate to how you feel. These feelings do make it difficult to go out and do things to improve your life.

This time has been difficult on a lot of people, so you're not alone. I'm thankful that the church I attend was very alert to the things that many people were posting and did their best to help us address how we were feeling. I have to say, that without my relationship with Christ, I know I wouldn't be doing well at all. The politics of last year, the virus, and now drastic changes. If you're not talking with a counselor, please consider it, because having someone to talk things out with can make a big difference and can help you see things differently. One day at a time.
