As someone that used to smoke a lot of pot, I can say, don't have so much food in your house. I don't buy cookies, cause if they are in the house, I'm going to eat them. Other than that, find something else you might enjoy doing instead of eating. I know coloring books are all the rage, and personally, I love to color.
hmm that's a good idea but i still live with my family so there's bound to be a ton of shit in the fridge/pantry. and even if I did, i'd just be hungry all the time, I guess the problem really isn't me eating unnecessarily but more just me being constantly hungry, does that make sense?
Yes, that makes sense, and if you are hungry, you should eat. I used to "eat my feelings" so to speak. At some point I started ignoring the full feeling and eating for taste. I made jokes that my "full button" was broken. (As a result, I'm FAT. I've lost 50 pounds over the last several years, but I'm still fat). As long as you are eating because your body is telling you, you need food, that's probably not horribly bad. Just don't eat too much crap. But, if you are eating just to eat, or because you are bored, there might be more going on. Of course, I'm not medically trained, so I don't actually know that there is more going on, but that would be my general feeling about it.
I wish I did but I do not if I come up with anything I will make sure to share it with you though.
Are you on any medication? I know I was the same way when I took zoloft.
