I’ve been so used to bottling up a lot of my emotions and keeping things to myself. I don’t ever open up to any of my friends or family about my problems because i’m afraid or whatnot. Well because of this, i’ve gotten so used to not sharing anything that it’s hard for me to share the good parts of my life with them too.
Today i got offered a full ride scholarship to a pretty good university. I haven’t told anyone about it because i just don’t know how to. Sharing my accomplishments with the people close to me feels just as scary as sharing my screwups.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that ghostygirl. I can tell you that I am very proud of your
accomplishments. Your family and friends would be happy and proud of you as well.
Keeping things to ourselves is nothing but a way of placing a wall around you. Something
made you be afraid to share your feelings and now it's grown into holding back the good
ones as well.
Of course, you can always come here knowing that this is a safe place for you to share both
good and bad experiences. We don't judge, we simply support you whatever you are going through. I think now might be the time for you to break that wall down and share this
amazing news about your scholarship. It's time to celebrate "You" xx
I know how you feel keeping things bottled up and to yourself. I used to be so scared to share things with family/friends but after doing it I felt so much better! I was given support as well. It’s worth a try!
Be brave 😊
Congratulations, your family will be so proud of you!
You can tell you are a caring person.
Hey, congratulations!!! What an accomplishment!!👍
Well done I am now very like you, I keep my own thoughts and experiences. However you mention good news, let families and relatives know this positive offer. You do not need to expand into this confidence, they will most possibly do that for you
