Hi, everyone. Lately, I've been really out of focus. For some reason, I often forget certain tasks, forget about scheduled meetings, have trouble focusing on schoolwork, lose things, miss parts of conversations, and am just generally unfocused, even when I think I'm focused. I don't know if it's just that I'm tired and have I'm-going-to-be-done-with-school-in-a-year-so-screw-it-itis or what, but I want to be more focused. Then, I find myself feeling guilty because I can't do things that everyone else seems to be able to. What do I do?

Hi I think that can be an affect of depression. I had some loss of focus/ concentration when my depression was bad.
Don’t blame yourself! Have you tried diet changes and supplements like serotonin support? Eating right, exercise, and good sleep might help some.
Hope you see some improvement and best wishes for your last year of school!!!

I take sertraline (which is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor), and I try to eat healthy (even though I fail at times. LOL. And I'm even vegan!). Generally speaking, I sleep well and get exercise, though I have my bad nights. Even when I don't feel depressed, though, I still have this issue. I think I might have ADHD, but I don't want to be medicated for it either because I'm scared it will turn me into an emotionless zombie-robot.
