Carbamazepine delivery

I’m very worried about my carbamazepine delivery. My chemist where I’m shielding hasn’t had a delivery for ages and is hunting round for another source. My chemist where I live also hasn’t had a delivery and can give me an old box he has. Does anyone know what’s happening? And does anyone have any experience of switching to another equivalent drug? What would be the equivalent? I take it for depression and nerve pain.
