I’ve been gone.

These last few months have been excessively shaky for me. From this doctor to that doctor and from urgent care to the emergency room. I finally have an answer to it all. I was recently diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. PPMS, it’s basically a worsening neurologic function.

I guess he's running around then?

Is there treatment for PPMS? Is'nt there some fairly new medication that helps ?

He is running around a lot! lol

Yes there is a medication. I was diagnosed last Friday. I haven’t been able to get it yet.

I am sorry you have MS. I had a friend who was also diagnosed with MS when she had a toddler son. She was divorced and had no close family to help. When she was finally diagnosed she was in the hospital. She commented to a nurse she needed to go home because she had a son to raise. The nurse told she would not be able to do that. WELL, let me tell you she went home and took care of her son, finished her BS degree and then got her Masters. Her son is very successful. My friend is about 70 years old now and doing good.

Your pathway has some stumbling blocks but I bet you will handle what has been handed to you and live your life to the fullest.
