Can lowering sertraline cause symptoms

I’m gradually reducing my dose of sertraline, only been taking it about 8 weeks and it hasn’t agreed with me. The last 10 days I’ve halved from 100 to 50 and the last couple of days I’ve been experiencing symptoms like I had right at the start again when first taking this drug it’s really horrid.

I feel unwell, like I have no energy. Really twitchy and nervous. I’m not sure if this is normal as I’ve not gone cold turkey or stopped the dose altogether I’ve just reduced it.

I’m speaking to my doctor the end of the week.
