Hydroxyzine/health anxiety

Ive been taking hydroxyzine for my anxiety for about a month and I love it, I've got terrible health anxiety and I was looking up some stuff the other day and found a couple random articles saying this medicine can cause bad heart arythmea problems. Now I want to stop taking it....I hate when I get like this but I dont think I'll even be comfortable taking it anymore

Dr Google always points us to the worst case scenarios when we look up meds, medical conditions and spoils the guidance and help of what your doctor is providing.

Run your concerns by your doctor, he prescribed this particular med, and prescribed it to be used a certain way (either sleep or anxiety or both), so instead of just stopping it, talk to him/her about educating you better on its short term and long term use.

I have been taking hydroxyzine HCL for more than 25 years. It has been a lifesaver for my anxiety and I have never had any side effects from it.
