Help me kill This, Realness of having a Chronic Illness...

Hello. How do you all manage to have a chronic illness, and still have hope at the same time? It's hard to have hope when you know it's not going anywhere. And if it does get better, you know that it will be short lived. I'm having a VERY hard time trying to accept this, and it's been 25 years. I can't even take care of myself, I can't accept that. How do you all manage to balance having a chronic illness, yet still have hope at the same time? Thank You!

To know that you are here for a reason. I have many chronic illnesses and the best way I manage is to know that one day Jesus will say "Well Done." I know that I am going through ALL THIS for a reason. I also like to make others happy, that gives me the energy I need to get through. I make beautiful crafts an give them away for free on FreeCycle. It makes me very happy. Use your talents. Is it to make others laugh, Are you a good friend, etc? I hope you find your life niche. I'd like to recommend a book for you called "Your Soul's Gift" by Robert Schwartz. I hope this helps!

Having HOPE is the first step to achieving your goal. I think you are heading in the right direction.

The second secret is to find a "healthy substitution", to replace the undesirable suffering. I am assuming that you already know what is causing this illness.

Ignore the adverts in between as they can be quite confusing. Just keep listening to the good stuff until it sinks in. The power of daily repetition will get you out of your predicament.

Please come back and let us know how you get on.

Bon courage !!!
