My anxiety has been so uncomfortable for the last few days. I know this will pass, but it feels so awful for the short run. I recently had my dog of 10 years die suddenly and I really am having trouble getting threw this. I adopted a puppy but its been a challenge to bond but she is really nice and I am happy to have her. I just feel like each day has very little to look forward to but I am working and I hate my job. I want to understand that I need to make a change, but its so tough to see light at the end of the tunnel. Any suggestions? I have a therapist that I talk to weekly and that helps. I have meds I can take as needed, but I argue with myself whether to take the xanax or not.

Do you exercise? I’ve been on alprazolam for a while but I feel anxious every morning until the pill kicks in. It 100% works but it’s something you have to not play around with the withdrawals suck if you don’t take the same dose at the same time every day. My morning anxiety is a lot better if I get up and get moving take the dog for a walk and take ur meds before everything becomes a lot more manageable. Hope this helps. You’re not alone! My anxiety is at its peak every morning my cattle dog can’t wait to go on our walk every day and you can see how appreciative she is and happy to see me. My dog a long walk and meds before and I’m ready to go. The more you workout it seems like everything is much more manageable best of luck!
If it were me and my anxiety was bad, I would take Xanax for a few days till I came back to feeling more normal. Sorry you hate your job, any prospects out there? SO sorry about your dog, that has to be devastating, perhaps you adopted the puppy too soon, we have to grieve and heal after a loss, can you put the puppy on hold for a few weeks? I feel for you, sending you peace, strength, love and big hugs......
Thank you. I already have the puppy. She is sweet but tough for me to bond completely. I just want to be happy and its hard to focus on the future. You are right about taking the xanax. I took one and I feel better. Its just to manage for now.
