My mind is racing with scary thoughts and scenarios....i feel like im going mad. I'm scared every bad thing my mind thinks is true

Hey there, I've been there a lot of times, I usually have obsessive thoughts that tell me that I will end alone because no one will want to be with me and they will leave and hate me. I'm scared sometimes that this thoughts can be real, I'm scared of hurting people so much. But let me tell you this: all that type of thoughts will never come true, is just your anxiety talking. You will be allright no matter what, you're stronger than what your mind or anyone can says to you

You are not crazy love, and you are not alone. We all have intrusive thoughts. They're important to observe because they're just trying to "protect us," but it's you who gets to decide if the protection is serving you.

The thoughts terrify me I'm going crazy so definitely not serving me lol

I was feeling the same way before I started on antidepressants. Now I am living a new life.

Give it time to kick in, meanwhile, did your doctor give you pills for anxiety/anxious? Feeling anxious make you feel like you are losing your mind, at least it did to me.

I hope your new med works soon. I am loosing my mind here too similar to what you describe. I started a new med 3 weeks ago and trying to be hopeful... which as you know is difficult when suffering so.

Hang in there, okay? You can do this.

Things can get better and I believe they will.

What comforts you? Try to do and think of these things often. Try deep breathing whenever you think about it, especially when you are anxious.

P.s. Reminding myself scary thoughts don’t have to mean anything.

Thoughts are just that...thoughts. I'm going through something incredibly scary these days. I just have to remind myself that they aren't real. The mind does not separate between fact and fiction, so we have to teach it the difference.
