Scared I almost died I think twice I couldn't get no air til I finally had enough to burp it down I was choking
Hi I’m sorry I don’t know your full story but this last fall I was experiencing esophageal spasms in my chest and even back. It was actually triggered by my anxiety.... and the pain was giving me more anxiety. Viscous cycle. I too tried to see what trigger foods relieved it best, and staying hydrated was #1... but at the end of the day it wasn’t the food it was managing my anxiety that helped the most. I wish you well.
Oh no, i’m sorry to hear but can you try eating soft foods like mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, soup, and maybe a smoothie?
Ima try im scared to eat im kinda traumatize scared. Because last time I choked was yesterday n luckily I saved myself before I fell to the grown. Pressure was so heavy
Yeah it is such a scary feeling!!
I kno I'm so sad 💔💯
Well when I nervous if I eat bread , or chicken too fast, I feel like it’s stuck, chocking while trying to shallow in my esophagus. So chew many times you food before swallowing . That’s what happens to me,❤️
I had to eat nothing but mush for seven years because my food wasn't going down. I found out that it was because of allergies and chemical sensitivities. I just had a look at some of your other posts. A lot of the symptoms you are having are also things people experience when they have a lot of chemical sensitivities. I know there is a lot of overlap with symptoms of depression and chemical sensitivities, but you might want to see if there are harsh chemicals in your living space or in your personal care products, your cleaning products, and your laundry products and get rid of them. And also air fresheners, scented candles, and things like that. Seems like it wouldn't hurt to try, and if you remove anything like that from your space, you might even feel better.
May not apply to your case but worth asking doc about -- I was misdiagnosed with esophageal spasms for 2 years till I had to have an emergency gall bladder removal - it had gone toxic and despite 2 ER trips, nobody had thought of nor tested for that.
