although i’m inclined to listen to music that plays to my pulpy beating mad heart...my favorite band of all time is nirvana and will always be a safe home to scream in, but i am trying to listen to calmer things that don’t trigger as much..really liking the plucking gentle melodies from Joanna Newsom’s album The Milk-Eyed Mender. her soothing voice cradles me like it’s ok to cry if i want to..and the clenching fists soften and i’m laying in grass looking at the stars on a warm summer night
