Swimming pool design for aquatic therapy experience

Hi Guys,

My wife was undergoing an aquatic therapy treatment and it was over 2 months ago. Now she feels happy and healthy. She told me about the therapeutic pleasure she experienced while relaxing in the pool and doing the therapy. She told me it is better to have a swimming pool at our home. I felt that it is right. So I thought, anyway I am going to renovate my home. So why can't I install a swimming pool in the backyard of my house?

It is beneficial in many ways. It can be used for health purposes and it also can be used to celebrate pool parties and family gatherings. I was thinking about approaching a swimming pool construction company. When I searched, I saw their swimming pool designs( soldapools.com/pools/design/). But don't know which design will help to work out all our pool needs. Can anyone who had a swimming pool at your home help me to choose the right design for us? Please help me.

Thanks!

Hi peacehearts, as much as it seems like a good idea in building a swimming pool

in your backyard, there are issues to think about. Two months of Aquatics therapy

*even though feeling better, doesn't mean all the money needs to be spent for

convenience sake. When I was in Aquatics, I will agree that I felt better both physically

and emotionally. Some of it had to do with the commitment I made to myself to exercise

but a bigger portion of that therapy had to do with having support of others in the class.

Music, laughing, jumping around in the warm water meant for therapy.

When there is a chronic condition *with myself it was Fibromyalgia, the emotional aspect

in dealing with pain is just as important as the physical pain. I personally don't feel that

your wife would be as committed to therapy if it were in her own backyard. If she is 100%

cured right now, maybe it's more about having a reason to build one for entertainment or

status purposes. Whatever the reason, I hope your wife continues aquatics, it was the

best thing I did for myself. I wish her the best. :) xx
