New sertraline user

5 days into taking 50 mg sertraline for depression and anxiety and I'm feeling panicky, bit paranoid and struggling to concentrate. Woke up in the night with waves of anxiety. Not used to taking any medication, felt like I was losing it yesterday.

Does this sound right?

I'm taking sertraline 50 mg. for about 7 weeks now. The first 2 weeks were no fun. More anxiety, bodily sensations, feeling worse! Slowly these symptoms are getting better! Wondering if this is the right med. for me! They said to give it 8 full weeks to work completely! Hope it works for you!
