I know it’s a real bummer for low income folks who seek therapy and cannot afford it.
I’m in Northern Calif. and work for a community college. Our psych department has free therapists who are putting in their intern hours in order to earn their certification.
Maybe perhaps a college near you does? If you desire, check with the Psych department chairperson who possibly could guide you as where to go.
