People with low income can not afford the therapy .very expensive in miami.is sad because we need it for our mental health also is very important to overcome our problem

I know it’s a real bummer for low income folks who seek therapy and cannot afford it.

I’m in Northern Calif. and work for a community college. Our psych department has free therapists who are putting in their intern hours in order to earn their certification.

Maybe perhaps a college near you does? If you desire, check with the Psych department chairperson who possibly could guide you as where to go.

2-1-1 Switchboard (free) that provides many free social services in your area. Tell them that you are inquiring about mental health services, you are low income. If calling via cellphone you can dial (305) 631-4211.
